About
The indoor bath here, called Urako no Yu, is built entirely of stone and open any time outside a midday cleaning break. The water is soft and mildly alkaline, and several guests mention being able to lock the whole room to themselves for a private soak. It's a small, family-run minshuku that draws hikers heading up nearby mountains and skiers and snowboarders passing through Yuzawa, with simple rooms and free parking.
