YesThe only day-use option is a paid room-rest plan with no meals, running 15:00 to 21:00 for up to 6 hours, and it requires at least two adults, with children billed at the adult rate; walk-in bathing without a room isn't accepted. A private view bath can be reserved separately for the day, 1,650 yen per 30 minutes for up to four people.

Wakakusa no Yado Maruei (若草の宿 丸栄) sits on the south shore of Lake Kawaguchi. Along with the main indoor bath, the top floor has two rooftop open-air baths, Fuji no Yu (富士の湯) facing Mt. Fuji and Umi no Yu (湖の湯) looking down over the lake; the men's and women's sides swap, so a single overnight stay covers all four baths. The onsen water feels smooth rather than sharp, and there's a steam sauna and a high-temperature sauna alongside. A private view bath can also be booked separately. Many rooms have their own open-air tub, though the site is upfront that it runs on heated Mt. Fuji spring water rather than the onsen itself. Reviewers describe an old-style ryokan feel, attentive staff, and a rooftop lookout with a straight-on view of Fuji.
