Hijiori Onsen Ishidaki Onsen Ebisuya

Two distinct bathing spots here: a mixed-gender indoor bath in the main building, and Ishidaki Onsen (石抱温泉), a free, seasonal mixed open-air bath right along the river, open roughly from May through October. The private baths can develop a crunchy limestone crust over time, a sign of mineral-rich water. Sit in the riverside bath and you're essentially soaking in the stream's company. The inn has a relaxed, genuine feel.
