About
Hanayagi no Sho Keizan is a large ryokan in Isawa Onsen with four baths fed by its own hot spring, kept flowing rather than recirculated. The water is a simple alkaline spring, soft and slightly slippery on the skin, known locally as bihada-no-yu (美肌の湯), beauty-skin water. There are two indoor bathing halls, a cypress open-air bath, and a rock-lined open-air bath, plus dry and mist saunas. Some guest rooms have their own private open-air bath. Day bathing is open in the afternoon for guests not staying the night.
