Oirase Keiryu Onsen Hoshino Resort Oirase Keiryu Hotel

The only hotel sitting directly on the Oirase River gorge within Towada-Hachimantai National Park. The outdoor bath overlooks the stream, and in winter the scene is ice-laced -- frozen waterfalls and snow-covered banks while you soak in water from Mount Hakkoda. A Hoshino Resort property, so expect polished service and a higher price point, but the location inside the national park is genuinely hard to beat.
