Iwaobetsu Onsen Sandan no Yu

Three natural rock pools on a gentle slope at the edge of Shiretoko's primeval forest, each at a different temperature, the upper pool runs around 45°C, the lowest a comfortable 39°C. The water is clear and slightly slippery, and the pools sit close enough to the trees that you can hear the stream and the forest while you soak. Bear bells are recommended; this is genuine wilderness.
