About

Yabuccha is a day-use onsen attached to a campground beside the Kizu River in Iga. There's an indoor bath, an outdoor bath overlooking the river, and a separate gensen-buro (源泉風呂), a source bath kept at its natural, unheated temperature with no recirculation. The two main baths, Kamenose (亀乃瀬) and Taigase (鯛ヶ瀬), swap between men and women each day. A sauna, a reclining bath and a bubble bath round out the lineup. Bathers often describe the water as slick and smooth, with a faint saltiness and a light brown tinge. The site also has a restaurant, a farm-produce shop, and day-camping space right outside.
