Kurahashi Katsura-ga-hama Onsen-kan is a day-use bathhouse on Kurahashi Island, facing the pine-lined sand of Katsura-ga-hama beach. It has two separate bathing floors: the first-floor Ishi-no-furo (石の風呂, "stone bath") has a high ceiling that gives it something of a Roman-bath feel, while the third-floor Umi-no-furo (海の風呂, "sea bath") is brighter and more open. Men and women swap floors each week. Both floors pair an indoor tub with an outdoor onsen bath, plus a handful of themed tubs (jet-massage loungers, shoulder- and waist-pounding falling-water baths), a sauna, and a cold plunge. The water pumped up from underground has a faint amber tint. A private family bath is available for an extra hourly fee for anyone who'd rather skip the shared floors, though it's a simple room with no view. There's also a restaurant and a rest area on site.
