701. Yu Bath Wakayama-ten, Wakayama Super sento with onsen water, 1100 yen for full access to all public baths (there's a reduced ticket for 490). Operating hours listed as 09:00 to 00:00. Has a restaurant, massage, washing machines, massage chairs. There's a stone bath. Bath photos are from the internet — roughly accurate, but I visited in the evening and in person everything looked simpler and older. 1. First indoor zone, accessible with the cheap ticket. Bearable to breathe inside, smells of chlorine. 1.1. Large bath with jet and a bubble zone activated by button. Clear water, around 40°C. 1.2. Small bath with clear water, around 40°C. 2. Second zone. Essentially an indoor zone with some parts partially exposed to fresh air. 2.1. Stone bath outdoors with a TV. Clear water, chlorine smell. Around 40°C. 2.2. Zone with jet and utaseyu. Clear water, around 40°C. 2.3. Jet zone split into 4 petal-shaped sections. 2.4. Three individual jets. 2.5. Two barrel baths indoors. Clear water, around 36-37°C. 2.6. Three barrel baths outdoors. Clear water, around 38°C. 2.7. Three saunas. 2.8. Two cold baths. Nothing special, but surprisingly very popular with locals. In Wakayama, it's worth visiting any other super sento instead. 15.11.2025
