Kobaitei sits at the foot of Kotohiragu (金刀比羅宮) shrine in Kotohira and spreads its baths across three separate areas. The main communal bath has cypress indoor and outdoor baths, a dry sauna, and a cold bath. On the upper floor there are two private reserved baths, Tsuki-yu (月湯) and Hoshi-yu (星湯), for overnight guests. The higher-grade rooms have their own in-suite rotenburo, and there is also an outdoor foot bath, Wokashi (をかし), in the garden terrace area. No day use; overnight stays only.
