Yu-parea is a city-run bathing and exercise complex just off the Suzaka-Nagano-Higashi interchange, built around a natural hot spring piped in from a local source about 600 meters away. The indoor bathhouse has a big communal tub, an open-air bath, a standing waterfall bath for the shoulders, jet baths, and both a dry sauna and a gentler mist sauna. A private bath is available by reservation, useful if you're bathing with someone who needs help. Alongside the baths sits a heated indoor pool for water walking and gentle exercise classes, plus a foot bath, a restaurant, and a relaxation salon, so the place reads more like a neighborhood wellness spot than a typical bathhouse.
