Tsuchiyu Onsen Sansuiso

Sansuiso sits along the river gorge at Tsuchiyu Onsen, with open-air baths that look out over the water and a double waterfall. The inn draws on an abundant spring, offering eight baths in total across the property. Among them is Taishi-no-Yu, a riverside rotenburo (露天風呂) for overnight guests only, named after a 7th-century legend tied to Prince Shotoku. The overall feel is a refined hot-spring inn with a quiet wooded setting.
