Shosuke is a small ryokan out in rural Kisosaki, built around a natural hot spring that's kept running through the baths around the clock. The men's and women's sides each have one indoor bath, including a rock-lined tub with an utaseyu (打たせ湯), a shower-like jet you stand under for a shoulder massage. It's built mainly for overnight stays, with full-course dinners centered on the house specialty, wild boar hot pot. The building is old but kept clean, and the location is quiet and a bit out of the way, often used as a base for visiting Nagashima Spa Land nearby.
