Echigo Yuzawa Onsen Garden Tower Hotel is a tower hotel next to the NASPA New Otani resort in Yuzawa. It's run separately from NASPA, but staying guests get free use of the shared big bath. The gender-separated indoor bath and its attached open-air section change with the seasons, and the water is a soft, mildly alkaline spring locally known as a skin-smoothing bath. The bathing floor also has a sauna, a cold plunge, a jacuzzi and massage chairs. Families and groups can reserve one of two private baths, Uono-no-yu (魚野の湯) and Omine-no-yu (大峰の湯). The hotel connects directly to a ski slope, so in winter it doubles as a soak after a day on the snow.
