Chichibu Ogano Onsen Ryokan Ryozanpaku

Every guest room at this small ryokan in the hills outside Chichibu has its own open-air bath, filled with water from the Ogano Dairyuji spring (小鹿野大竜寺源泉, Ogano Dairyuji). It's an alkaline water that feels silky and smooth on the skin. Beyond the room baths there's a shared bathhouse with an indoor bath and a rotenburo, open around the clock, for anyone who wants to soak somewhere other than their room.
