A wild bath right at the water's edge in Kushimoto, Wakayama, you soak essentially at the shoreline with waves breaking nearby. The spring has the faint scent of hydrogen sulfide and reportedly leaves skin very smooth. As raw and elemental as outdoor bathing gets.
