Wakafuji is a small, plain hot-spring inn a short walk from Lake Kawaguchi. The indoor onsen bath is simple and communal, the water a little silky on the skin, and there's also a private reservable wooden bath (kashikiri, 貸切) for guests who want to soak alone. There's no rotenburo, just a modest, well-kept bath and a dining hall. Some rooms look straight out at Mount Fuji.
