About

The indoor public bath, Nagisa-no-yu (渚の湯), sits on the top floor and faces Mutsu Bay straight on, with Aomori city behind the water and Mt. Iwaki (Tsugaru Fuji) visible on clear days. The spring is clear and odorless, a plain alkaline water that soaks without any edge to it. Two small private open-air baths, Warahando (わらはんど) and Megokko (めごっこ), named in Tsugaru dialect for "children" and "little cutie", are also on the top floor and open seasonally from May through October by reservation.
