Guesthouse Horaguchi is a stay-only minshuku (no meals) in Okuhida Onsengo, Hitoegane. It has two small indoor baths that lock from inside and are used by one party at a time. The water itself is plain and clear; some guests say the source runs very hot and unevenly, so you add cold water yourself to get the temperature right. It's an old, plain building with a bit of Showa-era retro character, popular with travelers looking for a cheap, no-frills place to sleep.
