Uses natural hot spring water
One 2024 review notes the bath is circulated with chlorine rather than a fresh flow (not kakenagashi), but multiple sources agree the source water is genuine 単純温泉 (simple hot spring).

Ojiron is a town-run day bath in the mountains of Kami's Ojiro area. It has an indoor bath with windows open to the hillside, a waterfall bath, utaseyu (打たせ湯), a sauna, and an open-air bath, rotenburo (露天風呂), that faces the river below. The water carries a faint tea-brown color and stays at a mild, soak-a-while temperature. A cherry tree grows right by the rotenburo, so spring is popular here, and in winter the outdoor bath looks out over snow. It sits close to the Ojiro ski resort, an easy stop before or after a day on the slopes.
