Shared bathing area for all genders
A large day-use bathhouse spread over several floors, part of Hokkaido's Honoka chain. The water is a moru-sen (モール泉), a dark moor spring that regulars describe as deeply warming. It fills both an outdoor bath and an indoor hinoki (檜) wood bath. The men's side has a hot sauna and the women's side a salt sauna, plus a cold plunge and a jacuzzi. Two ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) rock-bed sauna rooms sit downstairs, one lined with Himalayan salt, next to an outdoor footbath on the terrace that changes with the seasons. The building also holds a restaurant, a rest lounge, and a kids' corner, and in summer it shares its baths with guests staying at the campsite next door. It's a popular spot that fills up on weekends.
