About

Bijin no Yu Kakamigahara is a day-use bathhouse on the edge of Kakamigahara with a rotenburo and a run of indoor baths, including jet baths and an electric bath. The water isn't from a spring on site: it's brought in daily from Bijin no Yu Shirotori, a spring in Gujo's Shirotori area, and regulars describe it as smooth and slightly slippery on the skin. There's also a sauna with a cold plunge, and a lukewarm nuruyu bath was added recently for a gentler soak. The building itself is a bit worn around the edges, more workaday sento than resort, and draws a mostly local crowd. Alongside the baths there's a restaurant that, unusually, serves Indian food next to the usual set meals, plus a relaxation corner and a small gym.
