湯村温泉 野湯ゆむらおんせん のゆ
Uses natural hot spring water
Shared bathing area for all genders
A wild open-air bath on the banks of the Hii River in the hills of Unnan, where hot spring water seeps up naturally from the riverbed into two small pools. The water is odorless, colorless, and pure, locals have been coming here for centuries, and the Izumo Fudoki mentions therapeutic waters on this same river back in the eighth century. No facilities, no lighting at night; just the river and the spring.
