Yuta Onsen Nakayu

A simple wild onsen managed by local volunteers, open to the sky with no changing room or facilities to speak of. The water runs lukewarm, closer to a warm river pool than a hot bath, making it a summer spot rather than a winter one. Frogs share the water, leaves drift through, and the whole experience is charmingly unpolished.
