About
A municipal bath built into JR Nachi Station, upstairs in a building that doubles as the local roadside station (michi-no-eki, 道の駅) and tourist information point. It is one indoor bath, no outdoor tub and no sauna, but the second-floor windows look out over Nachi Bay and the beach, and there is a shallow reclining bath (neyu, 寝湯) if you want to stretch out. The water is a simple alkaline spring, clear, with a faint sulfur note. Downstairs there is a shop selling local produce and the Kumano Nachi world heritage information center.
