秩父川端温泉梵の湯ちちぶ かわばた おんせん ぼんのゆ
Entry is accepted until 9pm; the baths themselves close at 9:45pm for cleaning, ahead of the 10pm building close.
Weekday admission (junior high and up) is 990 yen, or 800 yen after 7pm; weekends and holidays it's 1,090 yen (1,050 yen after 7pm). Elementary-age children and toddlers pay less at every tier, and Bon no Yu card members get a discount across the board. Ganbanyoku is a separate 500 yen (450 yen for members).
Uses natural hot spring water
Open-air outdoor bath
Cold water plunge bath, typically used after sauna
Private bath available for day-use visitors or hotel guests to reserve
Shared bathing area for all genders
Site offers a separate reservable private-room bath specifically for couples/families wanting privacy, implying the regular indoor/outdoor baths are the standard gender-separated layout; no mixed bathing is mentioned anywhere on the site.
Allows entry with visible tattoos
Welcomes children and families
General admission is priced for children (elementary and under, and infants), but ganbanyoku is officially restricted to those above elementary-school age. One 2026 review also reports being told at reception that elementary-age children are barred from the sauna, though this is not stated on the site — kept the official ganbanyoku-only restriction.
Towels available to rent or borrow
Site also sells a branded towel (販売タオル) separately at the same price; distinct line item from the rental.
Relaxation space for after bathing
On-site or nearby parking available
Bon no Yu is a day-use bathhouse in Chichibu, right along the Arakawa river. It has an indoor bath, an open-air rotenburo, a hot and a cool sauna, and a cold plunge, plus ganbanyoku (岩盤浴), a heated stone-bed room to lie in. The spring water itself is soft, known locally for leaving skin smooth. For more privacy there are reservable rooms with their own indoor or open-air bath, and the tatami rest area and dining hall both look out toward the river and the hills around it.
