About
Gekka is a ryokan in Awara Onsen with one firm rule: you can only stay if you bring your dog. The two indoor communal baths, Tsuki-no-yu (月の湯) and Ka-no-yu (香の湯), draw from a warm, mildly salty spring. Some rooms come with a private open-air bath. Dogs are welcome throughout the inn, including at the dining table, and there is a large indoor dog run on the premises.
