Century Marina Hakodate

Century Marina Hakodate is a big waterfront hotel near Hakodate Station and the port, with a natural hot-spring bath up on the top floors. The indoor bath is large, and the rooftop open-air bath is built infinity-style, so the water's edge seems to blend right into the view over Hakodate Bay and Mt. Hakodate. The spring water itself is salty and warming. There's a men's medium-heat steam sauna and a women's aroma-mist salt sauna, plus a lounge afterward for drinks and soft-serve while you cool down. A handful of the top-floor suites have their own onsen view-bath, though most of the twenty room types don't. Day-use bathing is open to non-guests too, alongside regular overnight stays.
