YesDay-use bathing runs 17:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and from 15:00 on Sundays. Some booking sites list it as closed on Saturdays and the day before public holidays, but the official site doesn't confirm a separate day-use closure, only general bath and sauna hours for all guests (17:00 to 24:00 on weekdays, 15:00 to 24:00 on weekends).
Day-use entry is ¥800 for adults and ¥500 for children. The private open-air bath, Tsuki no Yu, is a separate reservation at ¥3,500 for 45 minutes for up to 4 people, with a towel set included.

About
Katsuragi is a modern-styled ryokan in Yunogo Onsen, an old hot spring town in Okayama said to have been found some 1,200 years ago by a monk led there by a white heron, which is why the spring still carries the old nickname Sagi no Yu (鷺の湯), the Heron's Spring. The main indoor bath recently added a Finnish-style sauna, with loyly steamed over local black-bean tea. There's also a separate reservable open-air bath, Tsuki no Yu (月の湯), designed by the studio graf, for up to four people. The water itself is clear and mildly salty. Rooms are simple tatami rooms, and a small annex hostel next door shares the main bath and sauna.
