Kinugawa Fudotaki sits above the Kinugawa gorge, slightly apart from the busier stretch of the resort town. Both the indoor baths and the open-air baths face the river, and select rooms come with their own private rotenburo (open-air bath). The water is clear and alkaline. The inn puts equal weight on its kaiseki cuisine, and children under middle-school age are not accepted.
