Both indoor and open-air baths draw from three springs on the property, and the water reaches the tubs without dilution or recirculation. The indoor side includes an ancient cypress-wood bath (kodai hinoki-buro, 古代檜風呂) and a rock bath; the open-air rotenburo look out toward the Tanigawa range. The water is also drinkable at source. Most guest rooms come with a semi-open-air private onsen bath fed by the same springs.
