Following the advice of the wonderful @whenintokyo, today I visited this spa. A huge complex in the style of "La Aqua," whose main highlight is an infinity rotenburo with a view of the sea and Atami. In reality it turned out even more beautiful than in the photos: when you sit, the water overflows the edge creating an infinity effect, and it feels like you're swimming in a hot sea. Besides the sea, you can see all of Atami, people walking their dogs along the promenade, and the crews of ships passing by. I suspect that from Atami, the promenade, and from the ships, the rotenburo is equally well visible. But that doesn't stop the women from enjoying the views. It's crowded! From this I conclude that the importance of fences in women's rotenburo is overrated and they shouldn't be built everywhere, blocking women from enjoying the scenery.
233. Ocean Spa Fuua, Atami An onsen complex in Atami with an amazing infinity onsen. Open from 10:00 to 22:00, price varies from 1760 to 3560 depending on the day and time. They have stone baths, chill zones, and more (didn't use those). 1. Outdoor area. 1.1. The infinity onsen itself - the bath is quite large and spacious, deep. The edge is designed with extra room so you can lean your upper body forward and look at the water while standing. At the same time, you can move away from the front edge and soak lying down the traditional way. Water is clear, temperature 40. 1.2. A separate small rectangular bath also with a bay view. Water is clear, temperature 40. 2. Indoor area. Breathing is comfortable, windows don't fog up - so the view is excellent. 2.1. An essentially indoor infinity bath. The bath edge is sharp and the glass is clear with no steam - so the indoor infinity onsen visually flows into the outdoor infinity onsen, which in turn flows into the bay with an infinity view. A very cool and pleasant combo. Water is clear, temperature 40. 2.2. Carbonated silk bath. White with lime deposits, temperature 40. 2.3. Sauna. 2.4. Cold bath. An amazing place. Highly recommended - essentially a must-visit when in Atami.
