About

Two shared baths fill the bathhouse, both flowing straight from the ryokan's own on-site spring without recirculation. Kajika-no-yu (かじかの湯) pairs a tile indoor bath with an open-air section where you can hear the stream running below. Kotobuki-no-yu (寿の湯) is an older stone-walled indoor bath with a quieter, old-fashioned feel. The water is a clear, mildly sulfurous spring that sits soft on the skin. Five rooms have their own semi-open-air cypress baths on the same spring, and the top suites add a private Finnish sauna. Dinner is served around an irori hearth using local Iwate ingredients. Stays only; no day use.
