Shikikan Saitoh (四季館彩冬) calls itself a food inn, and the baths hold their own alongside the meals. The large communal bath has four indoor pools and two rotenburo (露天風呂, open-air baths) looking out over the highland forest. Men's and women's sides swap around 7 pm each evening, so overnight guests can use both. There is also a private outdoor bath with its own lounge, bookable on the day of arrival. In winter, soaking outside in the snow is one of the draws. A free foot bath is open to all guests.
