A blended source of Izu-Nagaoka Onsen, classified as a hot (62.5 °C) alkaline simple thermal spring. With pH 9.3 the water gives the slippery, soft-on-the-skin feel of the Japanese 'beauty-water' family, even though total mineralization sits at a modest 0.631 g/kg. The standout is metasilicic acid at 65 mg/kg — a generous reading that leaves the kind of silica film bathers feel as noticeably smoother skin afterwards.
