Wakura Onsen Soyu (和倉温泉 総湯) is the communal public bath at the center of the Wakura Onsen resort town in Ishikawa. The current building, the seventh generation on this site, opened in 2011 and has a tall, open interior with tatami rest areas off the main hall. Inside you get a couple of indoor pools at different temperatures and a standing bath, plus a dry sauna and cold plunge. There is also a small outdoor bath. The spring water is faintly salty and leaves skin feeling smooth. After the 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake, the bath reopened within months and has been running steadily since.
