Ryokan Yumotoso

Day-use is available, included in the pass. They first let me into one outdoor bath with a view of trees. The color was slightly milky, no particular smell, standard temperature, roofed area with shallow water as in the photo. Then there was a gender swap (i.e., I entered the men's side and left from what had become the women's side). So I got the chance to visit the second bath right away. There are two separate baths with a gorgeous view of the river. The water here is clear, the smaller bath is hot, the larger one has a normal temperature. Not much smell. Towel 200 yen. The water composition sign was only one, I think it was somewhere at the entrance or it belonged to the first bath. The water actually looks different between them. If you get into the second section with the river view - highly recommended.
