About

Yunone no Mori is a whole-building rental just outside Kusatsu's hot spring town, booked out to one group at a time rather than run room by room. The bath sits in its own annex across from the house, with an indoor room for the cold months and an open-air terrace bath for warmer ones, both fed by Kusatsu's Bandai-ko (万代鉱) spring. The water is salty and kept on the lukewarm side, good for a long soak rather than a quick one. Guests get the run of the place for the night: a kitchen for cooking their own meals, a garden for barbecues, and the forest around it to themselves.
