松原大黒天神の湯まつばらだいこくてんしんのゆ

Public Bathhouse
Chubu·Shizuoka

Day Use

Yes
15:00–22:00
¥400

Elementary-school children pay ¥200, and a private (kashikiri, 貸切) family bath is ¥800 for 50 minutes. A 2026 review mentions a ¥400 rate specifically for visitors from outside the ward, which may hint at an unlisted resident discount.

Bathing & Water

Natural onsen water

Uses natural hot spring water

Site tags the facility as part of the 伊東温泉 (Ito Onsen) '七福神の湯' circuit; corroborated by multiple 2025-2026 reviews describing 天然温泉/源泉かけ流し, one giving 泉温43度・pH9.0・アルカリ性単純泉

Indoor BathYes

Enclosed indoor bathing area

Capabilities

Private BathYes

Private bath available for day-use visitors or hotel guests to reserve

Mixed BathingNo

Shared bathing area for all genders

Standard-layout small public bathhouse; no mixed-bathing (混浴) designation appears in the official listing, its category tags, or any of the five reviews on file — treated as the normal separate-sex layout typical of Ito's 七福神 communal baths.

Policies & Services

KidsYes

Welcomes children and families

Elementary-school child pricing implies children are welcome; a 2023 review describes bringing a nine-year-old to the private family bath.

WashingNo

Shower, wash stations, soap and shampoo provided

Confirmed by a second, independent 2026 review: 石鹸やシャンプーは無いけど…

TowelsYes

Towels available to rent or borrow

A 2022 review reports towels free with general admission; a 2023 review paying for the private family (kashikiri) bath reports a ¥200 towel surcharge there — likely a difference between general admission and the private bath, not a contradiction.

ParkingNo

On-site or nearby parking available

Site's basic-info table lists 駐車場 (parking) as なし (none); a 2026 review confirms and notes a nearby coin (paid) parking lot.

About

A small municipal bathhouse with just one shared tub, kept topped up with real hot-spring water straight from the source. Reviewers say there's no chlorine smell and the temperature is easy to sit in for a while, though the building itself is old and worn in places, with an attendant's desk (bandai, 番台) at the entrance. Down a side alley are a few tiny private tubs, each rented by the 50 minutes and filled straight from its own tap. It's one of seven small municipal baths on Ito's Shichifukujin-no-yu (七福神の湯, "Seven Lucky Gods hot springs") circuit, this one named for Daikokuten (大黒天). It's a short walk from Ito Station, with no parking of its own.

208. Matsubaradaikokutenjin Hot Spring, Ito An old-school onsen. Entry costs 400, but when I pulled out the rally stamp book, they dropped it to 350. Random newspaper photocopies were hanging in the changing room. They stamp the Shizuoka 60 Onsens rally book. One bath inside with clear water. Temperature-wise, the old guys said 44. Breathing inside is fine.
