About

Takaragawa Onsen Osenkaku (汪泉閣) sits deep in the mountains of Gunma along the Takaragawa river. The main draw is its four large rotenburo (open-air baths) right at the water's edge, surrounded by forest. Three of them are open for mixed-gender bathing (konyoku), with a bathing garment (yuamigiku, 湯浴み着) required; the fourth is women-only. Indoor baths are also available for staying guests. The place is open for day visits as well.
