About

Kagaya is a long-established ryokan at Wakura Onsen (和倉温泉, Wakura Onsen) on the Noto Peninsula in Ishikawa. The bath complex had indoor baths across two levels and an outdoor rotenburo, all looking out over the Sea of Japan. A sauna was also on hand. The ryokan was heavily damaged in the January 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake and has been closed since. The original buildings are being demolished, and a new facility is under construction at a nearby site. Reopening is expected around the end of FY2027.
