Nagaoka Minami Yokujo is a small, city-run bathhouse at the entrance to Izu-Nagaoka's onsen quarter. There's no outdoor bath, just two indoor tubs of different sizes, and the water runs hot: real onsen water, not a heated pool, and reviewers often mention how smooth it leaves their skin. It's a plain, functional place built for a quick soak rather than lingering: a handful of wash stations and lockers, but a small bench by the reception instead of a lounge. Straightforward and cheap, it works better as the kind of bath locals actually use than a destination stop.
