A blend of four Shirahama wells (Tsubaki-no-yu, Kakitani No.1, Kakitani No.3, and Kanro-no-yu) yielding a hypertonic sodium chloride spring at 55.5 °C. Richly mineralized at 13.08 g/kg total dissolved solids — leaves a fine salt film on the skin after bathing. Neutral pH with a salty taste and a very faint rotten-egg note at the source; metasilicic acid is also generous at 102.6 mg/kg, lending a noticeably smooth feel.
