Konjakutei (今昔亭) sits in Higashiyama Onsen, Aizuwakamatsu, and runs on its own private spring source. The indoor communal baths face large windows with a view of the Yu River gorge, and the water flows fresh without recirculation. The spring water feels clear and unusually smooth on the skin. Men's and women's sides rotate. Several room types come with private in-room baths drawing from the same spring. A short walk away, the seasonal riverside dining area Kawadoko (川どこ) has a foot bath by the water.
