About

Oyado Yukizumi is a small ryokan just across from the Kusatsu Onsen bus terminal, about three minutes on foot from the Yubatake (湯畑). The bath is basic: a single indoor room split into men's and women's sides, each open around the clock, with water kept flowing straight from the Yubatake source. It's a compact tub, room for a handful of bathers at a time, with only two washing spots, but reviewers keep calling it clean and well kept. Every room here is decorated differently, and none has its own bath or shower, so the shared indoor bath is where everyone ends up. Breakfast comes to your room rather than a dining hall, and dinner isn't served on site. Guests head next door to an affiliated restaurant. It feels like a small, family-run guesthouse rather than a big hotel, with a Lawson convenience store right on the ground floor.
