About

A neighborhood public bath in Matsuyama that has been running since 1959. The water is drawn from 1,000 meters down and leaves skin noticeably smooth. Outside, a kakenagashi (かけ流し) bath flows in fresh without recirculation among the greenery, alongside a rock bath, electric bath, and walking bath. Inside there is a main bath, a carbonated rock pool, jet and bubble tubs, cold mineral spring, cold-water pool, dry sauna, and steam sauna. The building is older and unpretentious, and the regular crowd is mostly local.
