About

Tottori Pokapoka Onsen sits inside Cainz Mall on the edge of Tottori city and draws natural spring water from about 1,200 meters below ground. The lineup covers a lot of ground: the yakura (櫓) open-air bath for outdoor soaking, a high-concentration carbonated pool, individual tsubo baths, a jet bath, an electric bath, a hertz-wave bath, a cold plunge, and a foot bath. For sauna there are two options, a salt-mist room and a large high-temperature stadium sauna, plus a separate ganbanyoku (岩盤浴) zone called Bikan-do (美汗洞) with three types of heated stone and a mixed-gender hot-air sauna with self-loyly. After bathing, a rest area stocked with around 5,000 manga and massage chairs, a juice bar, and a full restaurant round out the visit.
