Yunohana Ryokan

A small, old-fashioned inn at the back of Manza Onsen with a couple of distinctive baths. The most unusual is the indoor Enju no Yu, where water filters through polypore mushroom vine before reaching the tub, giving it a bluish-white milky colour -- said to be the only bath of this kind in Japan. There's also a mixed outdoor bath set among rocks, wilder and less manicured than the other Manza options. The water is an acidic sulfur spring, as sharp as Manza tends to be.
