Este no Yado Kannomori (エステの宿 上の杜) is a three-room inn in Yufuin run entirely by one woman. The indoor rock bath uses fresh onsen water and is reserved for guests by rotation, so in practice you usually have it to yourself. The place started as an esthetic salon that also offers overnight stays, and that unhurried, personal character still comes through. Breakfast is homemade and much remarked on by guests.
