About

Indoor and outdoor baths fed by a sulfur spring, flowing fresh (kakenagashi, 源泉かけ流し) with no added water or heat. The open-air bath looks out over forest and mountains. One suite room has its own semi-outdoor bath, and the spring water is drinkable at the source. The lodge was once tied to mountaineer Junko Tabei and reopened in 2019 under new management after renovation.
